The September inspection list
Walk the perimeter with binoculars and check these before the first storm:
- Slipped, cracked or missing tiles and loose IBR sheeting screws
- Rusted or perished ridge capping and flashing at chimneys and parapets
- Blocked gutters, downpipes and valley gutters full of leaves
- Sagging or stained ceiling boards indicating an existing slow leak
- Daylight visible from inside the roof space
- Loose or corroded fixings on solar panel mounts

Repair or replace?
